I built a house in the 50's and 2 small single garages with 2-3 inch gaps for mid-size SUVs. On TWO SUVs I've bought, the spacing of the roof mounted antenna has been an issue. With the latest SUV I bought a bunch of 3 or 4 antennas before I found the right one. Even then, AM reception was marginal. For my recently purchased SUV, I chose the KEYO1E antenna (at a higher price) due to the better reviews. The properties of this antenna are superior to all previous replacement antennas. NO signal loss on AM/FM or XM radio. Highly recommended.
