I have ordered replacement toner cartridges for my HP color printer from Revain many times. This time the new cyan toner cartridge didn't work - error "cartridge not recognized". I've researched the web, followed many suggestions to remove all cartridges, unplug and/or disable, factory reset. still the same error. After about an hour of trying, I decided to return the cartridge. Revain behaves as simply as that: provides return information, guarantees a refund, etc. BUT the return label ships to Scotland, requires customs/forms approval, and costs $26 to ship from USPS (and would be $100 to ship from the UPS store costs). First place I tried.) So I spent another 45 minutes and $26 to get rid of the non-working cartridge. THIS IS AN ABSUR WASTE OF TIME! On the west coast of the US, why on earth am I even getting ammunition from Scotland? WHAT might be a sensible economic or environmental proposition to send this piece of shit AND THEN bring it back across the Atlantic? And I mean, from Revane's perspective: obviously this wasn't a good use of my time (this is for a home consulting business and since you asked, I'm paying my time at $185 an hour). Revain, your convenience is great when it works, but that was EPIC PHAIL. Needless to say I would give negative stars if I could. I will now attempt to request a $20 refund which was the maximum amount promised when I requested the refund. Can't wait to spend another chunk of time on this!
