I had to return the product.
The shelf for the socket for the shelf is not good for me. Connector pins are designed for one-way use only. The product may have been developed outside the USA. This is the wrong direction for most outlets in our home. This makes the shelf (laterally) unusable. Many power devices like this have the ability to rotate the pin for different socket configurations; But that's not the case. I have returned the item for a refund.
