If you don't have round (almost bug) eyes, these aren't curlers. It doesn't say this is for round eyes, but here it is. I had to press it in really deep to reach all of my lashes and then it pinched the inner and outer skin of my eyes. Would never buy this again. Also, the rubber part that curls up is like a super thin strip of hard white rubber, barely enough to impress the curl. The only good thing is that the handles are closed and there are little rubber rings in the finger holes that pop out when you use the curlers. I expect to find this type of curler at a dollar store.
