Too Round Eyes

If you don't have round (almost bug) eyes, these aren't curlers. It doesn't say this is for round eyes, but here it is. I had to press it in really deep to reach all of my lashes and then it pinched the inner and outer skin of my eyes. Would never buy this again. Also, the rubber part that curls up is like a super thin strip of hard white rubber, barely enough to impress the curl. The only good thing is that the handles are closed and there are little rubber rings in the finger holes that pop…

HOORAY! Makeup Eyeshadow

I can't find them in stores anymore which is very frustrating - I can't find them in stores anywhere these days! I've tried other brands' makeup applicators, but they don't compare to the cover girl!

Pros
  • I Hold My Fists
Cons
  • Reliability

AND EDIT! Eye Shadow

EDIT – I only used curlers on one side, yes a slight curl but this time I used mascara. The lashes curled in one eye at first, and on the other I just used my old replacement L'Oreal Voluminous Original mascara with a curling brush. NO DIFFERENCE! You look the same. So just use mascara with a curling brush. Then they switched to the same silicones somewhere along the way? black pads and just, well NO. VERY useless. WHY do people ruin a good thing? Anyway, I've tried expensive hair curlers and…

Cannot be found in stores

I had to order online because I can no longer find it in stores. I've used something like this all my life (I'm the eldest) and I don't want big brushes being sold today. I like to apply shadows carefully and with light strokes, and I need a small, angled brush to do that. Glad they still exist. I hate the current marketing practice where 65% of the population likes something and the other 35% suffers and has to give up. Consumers should have access to what they need, whether it's a 'majority'…

Good eyeshadow product

I used it to apply eyeshadow, I wanted it because it's not disposable, it's strong and has a pointed end. This guy is hard to find. good buy

This is an eyelash curler from my Hollywood days

These curlers used to be everywhere. Now the curlers use silicone pads, they open as wide as pliers and are too wide. The price is the same as in the 70s. First let me say. When someone says they cut their lashes in half. stuffed curlers! This is "" an old Hollywood makeup tool that works! The curve is perfect because it is moon shaped and narrower than any other curler. It has the right mechanism, not a sloppy one that sits on your cheek or some weird scissors that pinches your eye and cheek…

Pros
  • Always liked it
Cons
  • Has some flaws

Cheap, thin sponges with a sharp plastic applicator, non-returnable!

I was surprised to receive such an inferior product from CoverGirl. The sponges on the eyeshadow applicators are so thin and the applicator is sharp. It really hurts my eyes to apply eyeshadow. I've used disposable applicators at Mary Kay makeup parties better than this one! I'm disappointed and I think I just don't have the money as returns are not allowed on this item. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I wish I could go back: just doesn't work

I've used several eyelash curlers in the past but I've never had one that doesn't work at all. It's terrible. I will repeat another negative review and confirm that I can't even get my fingers in the space provided; he doesn't pinch at all; and it does nothing to curl my lashes. Have used CG eyelash curlers before and they worked - for some reason it doesn't live up to the name. Unfortunately, I threw the box away before I did anything, so I waited to throw it away, but I haven't done so yet…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I won't say anything
