The camera covers a very narrow angle. This means that you cannot see large parts of the image. The manufacturer specifies 150 degrees. I would say that's half. was very disappointed about that. Also the reason for the lower price is that the camera is NOT 1080. It's not high resolution - just a low quality image. I made the mistake of not buying other brands and spending the extra $100. Although they can also be close angels. Why would anyone release an external camera with a narrow angle is beyond me, they bought it. I've only had the device for a few days, so I don't know anything about durability or waterproofing. we'll see after a while.
