Stand just arrived. The stand feels pretty solid and the hinges are fairly stiff, enough to hold a large laptop well. No tools are required for installation, just pull the part of the stand you want to customize. However, as mentioned in another review, the kickstand is quite wobbly when typing. On the other hand, the vent location on the stand works well for the Dell XPS 15 vents but is not sure about other laptops.
