As you can see in the photo it broke when used on heat shrink tubing. Very easy work. I noticed the metal tip was bent so I barely tried to bend it and it just snapped in half with no effort. You can clearly see how thin the metal is where it's broken. Super thin metal. paper thin. This flashlight is not at all what I was hoping for. It seems like a worthy product, but it clearly isn't. The picture of how thin the metal is makes it very clear. I think it's possible that I received a defective product? Who knows? (I also can't return it because I threw away the packaging and I had to modify it by cutting off the hose so I could attach my old cutter to the regulator to finish the job.) (This was the original post and I gave it 5 stars) I bought this Bluefire Micro Torch because my 25 year old Bernzomatic regulator was starting to lose fuel. Replacing the regulator costs over $50. This flashlight comes with a hose, regulator, and hammer for about $30 for all of that. My Bernzomatic burner is of the best quality, but as far as I know it is no longer made. So a great replacement for a third of the price. You will not be disappointed.
