Review on Strathmore 412 5 Toned Sketch Sheets by Wendy Rodriguez

This book is AWESOME! I found out about this after being recommended by Youtube artist DramaticParrot who creates amazing art with it. As an aspiring artist and fan, I had to take her word for it. This is my first non-white sketchbook and I noticed a change in quality as soon as I opened it. The pages were so smooth and so sketchy in a way I had never experienced before. I tried to draw a realistic black and white skater and a full color BB-8 and either way these two drawings were the best I've ever done. I recommend adding a white jelly roll outline to some of your images, and BAM! it looks incredible. You don't need expensive materials (like really good colored pencils) to work with. I've used 50 sets of Crayola pencils and I think they turned out great. If you want to give your artwork a different look and try high quality paper without the high cost, give this a try! 50 pages should last a while and for a book of this quality the price is good indeed and I'll definitely be reordering if I run out. If you are an artist you should really try this tanning book, you may never look at your art like this again! :)
