I got these for my husband, but when I saw these, I knew they probably wouldn't fit. These fit me width-wise, but the length is pretty long for my foot, I wear a women's size 6. These are not wide enough for men's feet, unless he has very narrow feet, and I got a size large. I made my husband put his foot in it, and he agreed that they were kind of tight, at which point I knew he would never chose to wear these, and that they were mine now. At first glance, I didn't think these were wool. I am still not buying the fact that these are 90% Merino wool. I own and wear pretty much only name brand Merino wool socks, and these are not like any of the ones I own. I wore them to test them out to see if they felt like wool socks, because I was sure they were just acrylic socks when I first laid eyes on them. They feel like wool socks on my feet, so I will say I changed my mind on the fiber content, however still not believing that Merino wool content when all of my other Merino wool socks are about 54% wool.I washed and dried these socks inside out, and put them in the dryer, the way I do with my other Merino wool socks. They came out looking the same, and fit the same. These are a thinner sock, not cushioned in any way. I like this thickness for my cycling shoes, but not for running in. Nobody is going to see me on my indoor cycle with socks up to my shins, thankfully! If the price is right, these socks are fine, go for it!
