The ear broke off before we even opened it!

The ear was broken before we even opened the packaging. I understand it's small parts and silicone cracks, but we didn't even open the packaging and the right ear was ripped off. I can't even use super glue or epoxy, it just peels off the silicone when it dries. What a disappointment. I'll mention that we have Stitch, so maybe the other characters won't be as fragile?
