original quality seems good. The flange was flat enough that there were no leaks. The gaskets that came with it are crap. I ended up buying a set of Mahle gaskets and a set of replacement Dorman bolts to complete the installation. The only thing I noticed was that the thickness of the flange didn't match the thickness of my intake manifold. The flange is a bit thinner but still works. I painted mine with high temp VHT paint to prevent rust and then wrapped it in thermal foil. I hope it lasts a long time and doesn't crack like my old manifold.
