Time will tell distributor

original quality seems good. The flange was flat enough that there were no leaks. The gaskets that came with it are crap. I ended up buying a set of Mahle gaskets and a set of replacement Dorman bolts to complete the installation. The only thing I noticed was that the thickness of the flange didn't match the thickness of my intake manifold. The flange is a bit thinner but still works. I painted mine with high temp VHT paint to prevent rust and then wrapped it in thermal foil. I hope it lasts a…

Exhaust leaking after 6 weeks!

The part went in easily enough and initially worked well but after a few weeks of normal driving a severe exhaust leak was discovered. I don't know if it's a gasket or the seat is deformed. There might even be a hole in the harmonica section up front, but that needs replacing and this one's just out the window to get it fixed. I bought this jeep for my sons. When I realized that my 1999 4.0 TJ had two cracked manifolds, which I later found out were actually four, I expected to pay hundreds to have them replaced. I was happy to find this product, including the pads, for probably 1/5 the price you would pay anywhere else. After that, the welds looked better than I expected for the price.
