I couldn't get the adhesive backing off and as only a temporary try I used my own tape about every 10" and they have stuck ever since. and now I can use it for another room. I like the brightness control and the different color transitions. I haven't mastered the remote control yet, but I love these lights. I also liked the second remote control, which I attached to the wall with Velcro as a light switch. The ability to round corners makes this set superior to the competition. It also provides just the right amount of light for less power consumption. We currently have them hanging in our motorhome, I would buy them again anytime!
