Good egg cooker! at Specialty Appliances

Yesterday I got my egg cooker and tried it out. First of all, don't be surprised when you take it out of the box. It is very small, probably smaller than other egg cookers. Think of it as a space saver. It has slots for 7 eggs on each level, but you can't put 7 eggs on the tray unless you have medium or small eggs. I used several very large eggs and was able to fit 4 eggs comfortably on one tray. Make sure you read the instructions. The measuring cup has instructions for soft-boiled, hard-boiled, and hard-boiled eggs, but the instructions say to use 60ml of water for 1-7 eggs. That's a lot more water than the hard boiled egg cup says, so since I had 4 hard boiled eggs I used 60ml of water. I'm assuming if you want to boil 14 eggs you'll need 120ml of water, but I'll have to double-check that. I turned it on and it went to work. When the lights went out, I pulled out the tray and placed it in a bowl of ice water. Results? It was very easy to peel the eggs. Perfectly cooked yolk, no gray ring around the yolk!* Make sure you pierce most of the egg with the small needle at the bottom of the measuring cup before placing the eggs in the bowl. I did it and not a single egg broke. So far I love the egg cooker. Comes with a stainless steel bowl for cooking eggs and omelettes. I'll try it. I'm glad it's not plastic like other egg cookers. That was the selling point for me. I don't like the idea of making an omelet in a plastic pot. I think it's worth the money.
