Review on Safari Ltd Dragon Figurine 801229 by Marcelo Apriando

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exceeded expectations!

The toy itself was larger than I expected and had transparent straps which I was unaware of when looking at the pictures. One of its horns was bent at an odd angle and I can't get it right, but it's a nice complaint. The toy isn't articulated, but the pose is decent enough for play or display. The details exceeded my expectations. I bought one for a D&D pirate game to fight monster ships and it's perfect for the task. Slightly enlarged but not useless, more like a late game opponent. It's worth noting that I'm using miniature ships from Wizkids Pirates of the Cursed Seas with it, which explains most of my scaling issues. However if you are buying this for a young child I cannot recommend it highly enough! The toy is made of durable plastic that can withstand "vigorous" battles with other action figures and is compact enough to be easily carried around. The transparent details are a fun addition that will stimulate young children's imaginations.
