Review on Renewed Logitech K800 Wireless πŸ’‘ Illuminated Keyboard: Brighter, Better, and More Convenient by Dorota Sokalska (Wic ᠌

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Since then, I've been the proud owner of my very own K800. I paid an additional 2500 for it. Recently, W has begun to become stuck, and Shift is less reliable than it always was. I wasn't really interested in purchasing a brand new one for 8,000 to 9,000 dollars, but I ended up doing so because the stock was available virtually at the same price as the previous model. The original K800 and the new K800 are not clones of one another; rather, they are related in some way. The older plastic has a silky texture and feels good on the skin. The new one has a grainy appearance and a less expensive feel. On the other hand, this could be one such answer. The keys on the previous keyboard were completely smooth, and this allowed them to reflect light from above in a faultless manner, regardless of the angle from which it was viewed. In addition to this, it was really vexing at first. Rough keys DO NOT cause light to be reflected back into the user's eyes. The older keyboard has a smoother key travel, and the sound is subdued. The new sound is more pronounced and has a faint rattling quality. Naturally, more quiet than the mechanics, but noisier than it previously was. The K800 can be used without first installing the Logitech Set Point application, but doing so is recommended for optimal performance. In it, you can also set the decay time (or disable it entirely), assign commands to function keys, turn on the on-screen indication of Caps Lock and Num Lock, and program the bluetooth receiver to use multiple Logitech devices. All of these features are in addition to the fact that you can disable the decay time entirely. There is also the Logitech Options utility, which has a more beautiful interface but a slightly less robust functionality than its counterpart. In my opinion and based on my requirements, this is the best keyboard. Nevertheless, NOT for 8,000 to 9,000 dollars! However, if you follow the promotions, you will be able to purchase the item at the standard price.

Pros
  • Battery already incorporated. JUST the letters, not the area around the keys, are illuminated in this mode. The backlight offers a high degree of visual comfort and may be adjusted in a seamless manner. Soft buttons with a satisfying amount of tactile sensation. The buttons do not make any sound and do not rattle in the same way that a rattle would. Calculator call button - I've become so accustomed to using it over the years that I began to believe that everyone else also has it))) Software that is owned by the company that gives you the ability to personalize helpful settings for yourself as well as link several devices to a single bluetooth receiver.
Cons
  • Logitech, just like every other worldwide company, boosts its revenues by lowering the price of maintaining its high quality. Both the keyboard K800 that was purchased 9 years ago and the keyboard K800 that was purchased yesterday have what appear to be separate adjustments. The price of 8,000 to 9,000 dollars is far too high!
