Let me start by saying that these are great modern day light bulbs from dawn to dusk that only cover one hole and have the added benefit of covering the central outlet screw. However, as mentioned, not all work or function the same and I don't know if this is due to the manufacturer or damage in transit. I've found that some light sources have uneven sensitivity when the light is turned on in the dark. They all behave differently and this can be confirmed by plugging different lamps into the same socket. Upon closer inspection, I believe it has to do with the ambient light sensor that is housed in the plastic dome cover. I noticed that some of the sensors are not centered on the dome, which explains why some of them are behaving differently. Perhaps the manufacturer is aware of this as for this price you get more light than others but as some of them don't work in the same way or at all I guess it balances out. Even so, I keep ordering more because the ones that actually work look fantastic.
