Review on Yeelight Backlight Extendable Multicolor Compatible by Austin Arvayo

Possibly the worst light strip on Revain

I've tried about 10-20 different LED strips over the years and I don't think it will even make the top 10 of everyone else. brand I tried. For starters, what the heck? $60 and they only give you SIX FEET LED strips? THE? Most other LED strips are $20-$30 for 16, some even give you 32 feet for that price! Second, the number of LEDs you actually get on each strip is also far from impressive; If it's going to cost that much per foot then I expect these strips to be LOADED with LEDs as I was expecting CRAZY brightness, maybe something like LIFX since it's the closest LED strip I know that's in this "premium" price range works. but no. In terms of brightness, this has to be one of the most DUMMY and DOTLESS LED strips I've ever tested; at 100% brightness, set to any color (red, green, blue) when they were behind my TV I could barely tell they were on! Compare that to the $30 Maxonar 16-foot light bar I now have on the back. the same TV, on which, I would say, there are at least 2-4 times more LEDs, which, when turned on, illuminate almost the entire room; I compared them by swapping which was on and which was off and the difference was absolutely stunning. To top it off, there was HORRIBLE delay between issuing the via command. Google Home and when it actually updated the color on that strip, and in some cases it just didn't even register. In comparison, my maxonar strip has never had a lag OR error when responding to a Google Home command. Verdict: Brightness: 1 out of 10 Network: 2 out of 10 (not as bad as Govee, but nothing else) Price: 1 out of 10 EPIC FAIL
