A bit difficult to fit the phone into the case

For the money this is a well designed and protective case. There were no installation instructions, and a quick web search didn't help. It didn't just show up. Apparently several people had similar problems. But a little fiddling led to the discovery that I could remove the softer black bumper and slide back the hard orange frame. Then the two halves of the frame are separated and the phone fits easily into the case.
