Came in dark brown but beautiful.

Good set. Came in dark brown leather so didn't need to be dyed which was nice as it was a gift for those who don't have leather items. But might disappoint someone if they want to do something colorful. This isn't a very durable journal, but definitely a fun, easy beginner's gift for creative people who enjoy drawing, journaling, etc.

Pros

Includes pre-cut and perforated vegetable tanned leather, lace, waxed thread, needle, 128 page parchment paper insert, pattern and full instructions.
