Appearances are deceptive.

The description says "made specifically for heavy fabrics". If this is a true statement I would hate to see what lightweight zippers look like. This set looks more like a silk dress than any "heavy" fabrics. Don't believe the photo, it's enlarged to make it appear the flash is bigger than it really is. The length of the zipper cannot be more than 1/2 inch.
