Bought this to hang some jackets when we moved to North Florida. I got tired of seeing jackets and hats on the backs of our dining room chairs during our short cold season and this was the perfect solution. Not expensive, looks good and is very easy to assemble. Even fully loaded, it doesn't take up much space near the front door. Now I have 6 jackets/coats and 2 hats of different weights. I'm trying to balance the weight a bit and so far so good - no problem even if my husband throws his heavy jacket wherever he wants. I think it would be sturdier with 4 legs instead of just 3, but it's great for my purposes and I can put it in the closet when it's warmer. If you have kids who just throw things at them, or a lot of heavy coats, you might be better off with a 4-leg hanger. This one is perfect for my purposes!
