I have tried many bread pans with varying degrees of success. I think this pan with bottom vents and a retractable lid would be great. This pan is made from heavy carbon steel alloy and has a non-stick coating. Its dimensions are 8.4 x 4.6 x 4.33. The lid slides well and you have to push down a bit to close it. I'd suggest spraying with nonstick cooking spray and putting parchment paper on the bottom if you're baking with a batter like banana bread. At the time of writing this review, the price is just under $17, which is average for this type of product. Highly recommended.
