This is my favorite dishwashing liquid of all time. We used to use Ajax and then Dawn, but we've tried to switch to more eco-friendly and non-toxic household cleaners. First I have to say that it doesn't always foam as much as other dishwashing liquids, but I figured it was because of the sponges I used. If you really want a lot of lather, choose a heavy, densely packed sponge. I had a walnut shell sponge but it was very light and the detergent didn't seem to foam as much until I bought my new sponges, also walnut shell sponges but from a different brand. A little of this cleanser goes a long way. And it's so good I use it to clean bathrooms and degrease stoves. Keep in mind that it is herbal and therefore will not have the same effect as Dawn's Super Degreaser, Palmolive or Ajax. This requires some extra supplies, like lemon juice and baking soda soaked in greasy pots and pans. Ajax and Dawn. The fact that it's non-toxic and plant-based is just a bonus. The aroma is amazing. It's not overwhelming, but still powerful enough to be fun. My favorite flavor right now is grapefruit, but the lemon flavor is good too. The container is easily recyclable.
