I'm a bit of a planner so figuring out where to install this was a bit of a headache. Luckily this includes a remote control panel that uses a "phone" wire to connect to the remote control panel. I wanted this to be as close to the front-mounted batteries as possible (I use two 6-volt, 230-amp-hour golf cart batteries, compared to the Group 27's meager eighty-amp-hour). I ended up front-mounting it in a vented enclosure and running the control panel wire, two stranded 10 AWG THHN copper wires, and a 10 AWG ground wire in some sort of flexible conduit up to the kitchen where the shoreline runs. The system works great. In theory, this could start my air conditioner, but I haven't tried it yet.
