I bought the Academy Gear Girl Lauren Mary Jane Flat Shoes for my daughter who needed durable and comfortable shoes for school. The navy blue color is nice and goes well with her uniform. I appreciate that the shoe has a durable outsole that makes it durable for all the runs and jumps that kids usually do on breaks. However, I found the shoe to be a bit small. My daughter has narrow feet and normally wears a size 3, but I had to upgrade to a size 3.5 to get a comfortable fit. Also, the strap tends to loosen and needs to be tightened again throughout the day. Overall, I think these shoes are a good option for school, but don't forget to increase the size and pay attention to the strap.
