Got this for my teenage daughter who is an eventer. We tried several vests and they were either comfortable but not providing enough protection, or uncomfortable when providing protection. This vest has finally given us what we were looking for. It covers the lower back and offers good protection but at the same time it really moves with her and fits her very well and it doesn't feel big and bulky or prevent her from riding.
