I have a beautiful genuine leather backpack that I really like and wanted this set to complement it as the dark brown color and style complements my quality backpack perfectly. This set looks very much like real leather, if not entirely convincingly revealing. The hardware on the set is very shiny which doesn't quite match the "worn" hardware on my leather bag, but I won't be using a large bag as a backpack at the same time, so for the price it will work. The seams look passable on all three pockets, but the lining is definitely a bit inferior, but usable. Time will tell its durability. The LG bag's lining doesn't fully expand to its full interior size, slightly reducing capacity in both width and depth (about 1/2 inch or so in either direction). I suspect the problem is probably just with the bag I received and if it were worse I would probably ask for a replacement. The medium-sized liner fits more snugly, fitting in my thick credit card case, LG phone, and the included slim wallet. I could even stuff my foldable sunglass case into the top if needed. etc. The external locking mechanism is both functional and attractive. In fact, I really want the middle pouch to have the same function! Barely fits in my LG phone but nothing else so I leave it as a divider for the bag. Overall I'm happy with the kit and only offer my review as a reference for people looking for a higher quality leather replacement. I feel I got better quality than the price implied which is a win-win. pay more.
