My child loves music and takes it with him everywhere. She has thrown it multiple times and it gets wet (not submerged) in the tub but keeps ticking. It eats quite a lot of batteries (4AA), but it's used a lot around my house, so it's not unexpected. Would buy again if needed. But I wish it was rechargeable to save $$ on batteries.
