The goods were delivered rolled up in a box. Reading other reviews there seems to be some confusion as to whether it is USB powered or powered by a 120v outlet. I have a two prong cord that plugs into a 120v outlet. The other end will connected to the control box of the mat. It took me a little effort to get it all the way into the end of the mat. Once this was done the mat worked perfectly. It blends well and has no foreign odor. One of my concerns, based on my experience with heated footrests, is that it doesn't get warm enough. Well, fear not. If anything, the ratings in the description are an understatement. At the highest setting, I measure up to about 60C / 140F at the center of the pad. I usually keep it on the lowest setting and it's ok.
