The first thing I did when I received this pillowcase was to wash it on a gentle cycle and hang it to dry. I have found in the past that the silk material has torn at the seams. This one didn't scroll at all. The zipper is of excellent quality and closes well. The zipper never pulled my hair onto the pillow either. It is a very soft and comfortable fabric. I don't wake up in the morning with wrinkles on my face. My very long hair doesn't get tangled like cotton pillowcases. My grandmother slept on a silk pillowcase and by the time she was 90, she had virtually no wrinkles. Everyone always complimented her youthful face, which I attributed to her pillowcase. I've never seen her wake up with a "smiling face". The beautiful peacock blue color is also very pleasant.
