Review on ๐Ÿ’ป 32UD59-B LG 32-Inch LED Lit FreeSync Monitor with DCI-P3 95% Color Gamut, Six Axis Control, Factory Calibration and 3840X2160P HD Resolution by Atlantahaus Knight

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Image quality is good, albeit with somewhat inconsistent brightness overall.

Pros: This is a 4k monitor. Bright enough. Fair price. Picture quality is good, even with a bit of uneven brightness across the screen (you'll only notice this if you're viewing or actively trying to view the entire screen in a solid color). 32 inches is a good size to consume 4K media at a reasonable distance. Freesync (trying to get a budget AMD graphics card now (soon?)) Cons: This may seem very picky, but I highly recommend the UFO benchmarks to understand how monitors perform. This monitor seems to have quite a bit of motion blur. Things to note: This works reasonably well with something like a gaming console 1-3 arm's length away. If you go further, you lose graphic fidelity. for which you bought the screen. In terms of performance, I have no problem at arm's length viewing spreadsheets in Excel at 100% scaling (default), although your mileage may vary. For me this plays games at 1080p well enough with 1050ti, and I think with a better graphics card it would be fine at 4K. For media consumption, this monitor is a beast. I'll be looking for the best way to split the monitor into 4 1080p sections for better multi-tabbing.

Pros
  • HDCP 2.2 Compliant
Cons
  • There are new competitors
