I've tried a few WAVLINK docks and have been using this one for almost a month now. I love doing reviews on all kinds of tech devices. Follow me on my OndaWire Youtube and Facebook channel where I actually test tech devices and then tell you all the pros and cons I find. Let's get straight to the point with the WAVLINK Thunderbolt 3 USB-C Dual 4K Dock. Pros: 1. This docking station is POWERFUL! Powered by the new Thuderbolt 3 Titan chip, this docking station delivers all the performance you need for your devices. I make this my daily dock.2. This dock was a quick connect device and I like hubs, adapters and docks. I had a slight flickering on my extended monitor and had to download a driver which fixed it quickly.3. The dual DVI display ports support the 1.4 standard and both support 4K at 60Hz, either standalone or dual use. ******** I would like to add something here that applies to almost every device. Using a cheap DVI (Display Port) cable will NOT provide the same quality as a high performance DVI cable. So BUY a good DVI cable. This applies to any device, not just this docking station.4. The Ethernet port DELIVERS! I've tested this many times and where I live I have the "supposedly" fastest internet speed. I have 1GB of free space and 35MB of free space and this has definitely kept me at those speeds. Love it! 5. This dock has Power Delivery (PD) and I love it because now I don't have to hang my BIG Apple MacBook on the wall anymore. This provides all the performance I need for my MacBook. Thank you WAVLINK6. It's number 5 here, but it's my BIGGEST plus on this dock. I FINALLY FOUND a docking station that is interchangeable between my MacBook (PC) and Dell work laptop. Every day I had to unplug cables from my MacBook and then plug cables into Dell and vice versa twice a day. Now I just plug a USB-C connector into both and they BOTH work GREAT! No hiccups, buffering or anything. YES YES YES!7. This dock is slim and fits my desk perfectly. It slides right under my monitor and matches the space gray on my MacBook and monitor.8. This docking station had 3 USB-A ports on the back and one on the front. Two are 3.1 and the other two are 3.0, both offer really good speeds and can run simultaneously. There's also an additional USB-C 3.1 port on the front and it delivers! I connected an external SSD drive and it transferred videos so fast! It also has a microphone/headphone jack.9. I like the quick release buckle on the side of this dock. If I want to turn something off, I just press the power button and everything turns off immediately.10. This docking station is IntelCons:1 certified. Tech support not great! There is no number to call so you have to email them for assistance. When I'm trying to connect this and I need help, I need help now while I'm trying to connect this, not later. When I first connected this dock, I had an issue with the second screen flickering. When I wrote to support, I received no response within 2 days. I ended up just following the links to the support page where they had a walkthrough. I fixed it in less than 5 minutes and after a reboot. When tech support replied I had already been using it for 2 days. ****Here is a disclaimer, not a complaint, but a suggestion for WAVLINK. I'm very tech savvy so this was a bit easier for me BUT for those who don't, not having instant support can be disheartening for some.2. I want the Thunderbolt 3 port (to connect the cable that connects WAVLINK to my laptop) on the back. It would make this dock much nicer when sitting on a desk. I hate being on cables, but then again, it's just me. lol3. One of the things I had to accept when loading the drivers was that the WAVLINK agent would record my screen. I didn't quite get it as I didn't work with an agent. Overall I definitely give this a super high rating of 4.7*****. I absolutely love this dock and all of its features are PERFECT FOR ME! Working from home now and constantly switching back and forth between my Mac and Windows PC was giving me such a headache, and THIS SOLVED THOSE PROBLEMS! I 100% RECOMMEND THIS THUNDERBOLT 3 WAVLINK DOCK.
