There are quite a few items in the set itself Microfiber cloth (not shown). started from the windshield. I'm relieved to report that this set is compatible with my Otterbox Defender case, so I didn't really go for the black frame, just fitted a screen protector using the phone case as a guide. The first step was to clear the screen. damp cloth, then wipe dry. I tried a microfiber cloth but it actually stained so I gave up and went back to using a dry cloth to clean. It was fairly clean so I didn't have to use a sticker to scrape off any remaining dust. The next step was to glue the screen directly onto it. On the first try, I lined up the class along the edge of my case and then slid the rest of the screen, not realizing it was too close to the edge. This didn't give it a chance to push all of the air out, and my glass kept rubbing against the side of the case, which also prevented it from closing. I attribute this to user error. Since I had a three pack I decided to discard the first screen which came off very well. The second try was very successful as I now knew how to place it perfectly in my case. (Maybe a black frame is better for the application. I suggest you put the glass with the frame on the phone first (before peeling off the sticker) to measure it before you do it in reality. There is no air bubbles and all I had to do was smooth out a little one and it disappeared pretty quickly. Then I flipped it over and peeled the backing off the camera lens from the yellow plastic and put it on. It didn't take long at all (and I me have applied it twice!) I am unfortunately prone to dropping my phone (not on purpose) so I feel my phone is very secure now.
