Perfect fit for my 5 year old. He likes to wear it in grandma's pool and on the sandbar by the river. My 10 year old was able to use it too and it fit great. I read some reviews that talked about sudden death/choking. I have investigated the allegations more closely and have not been able to find any clear studies or incidents suggesting that the full face mask is the cause of death. We definitely keep an eye on our children when they swim, but we only use this when an adult can be in the water with and close to the child carrying it so they can act quickly if they show any signs of distress .
