The side panels fit together perfectly and are very easy to assemble. The package includes simple instructions for removing existing sidebars and installing new ones. The problem with attaching the panels is that you end up with matte black side panels and a gloss black control panel that ends up looking bluish. The package includes two stickers to cover the control panel. It was easy to install with no bubbles, but it's a bit narrower than the panel and since it's in two parts, it looks serviceable once installed. Overall, this is a MASSIVE improvement in looks, but not a perfect solution. If only Sony didn't make such a disgusting console.
