I am very concerned about the design of this camera bag. I bought this for my most valuable camera and I'm sure I will never use this bag for such an important camera. So, "why do I say such harsh things?" Here is my answer; Velcro will work but never replace buckles/belts/fasteners. In other words, the most important element of this bag is the easy-access compartment with Velcro closure. But over the years I've had Velcro failures on many other occasions with many other similar designs. What I didn't realize was that this camera was designed to endanger my gear. That's what I'm saying; I've done so many film shoots where I've struggled through crowds and tight spaces to get backstage to film a band, or onstage to perform, or to find my way back to the soundbar. On many occasions I've had velcro pockets open and this could spell disaster in a crowded place with loud music. How would you know if your gear fell on the floor? I've encountered this many times over the years, with other bags and in scenarios like this. Very much. So I would never have bought this bag if I knew that the main part I want to access while shooting is no MORE than velcro protected. my microphones and sound recorders for filming. In fact, I'll probably buy and sew on a set of buckles or clasps as well because I want that kind of security. I don't want devices to fall out. We all know that hook and loop fasteners lose their grip over time. You open/close it several hundred times and then you gradually realize that not all Velcro fasteners "seize” the lady. From now on you will definitely want to have the fasteners installed. hopefully not AFTER you've lost an important camera or microphone. However, this case is well made, a good size and extremely cheap compared to the overall cost.
