Kettle received on 02/10/18. I'll try to remind myself to check if I come across anything negative. This thing is very easy to use. 1) Fill it to the max line (which will probably fit 2 large mugs of water; maybe 3 or so small mugs). ?) 2) connect the stand, place the kettle on it, cover with a lid and press down the small on/off lever 3) wait about 3-4 minutes for the tap water to boil. The kettle will turn off automatically when the temperature is reached. When it is brought to a boil but you have left it for too long. just turn it back on. It will heat the water properly without overdoing it. The lack of an actual thermometer is a minus, but it makes up for it by keeping the water at a consistent temperature (Pro). Edit: It's been 6 months, still 5 stars. It still works great. I've experimented pushing it to the limit by filling it with 4 cups, which is above the fill line. It still works fine except the volume/weight causes a leak at some point near the base. It then works great again when you pour a reasonable amount of water into it. Still recommend.
