I love this stool. I see that others have had no luck with this. :( but here is my experience. It's soft and my posture is much better than if I had a giant space command chair. I'm 5ft 7in, average weight, and I can put my feet on the floor or backwards on one Sitting on a stool.or just a normal posture.Comfortable anyway.Sometimes my butt hurts and when it hurts I stand up and stretch (very important!) I use it for easel drawing,drawing at the drafting table and Video gaming / drawing with a Wacom tablet on my desk for very long hours. The casters never snag, the weight adjustment always works, and it's survived several cross-country moves with dodgy trucking companies. If I'm having a really good day, it will break immediately after posting this positive feedback (just kidding).
