Surprisingly good kit! My 8 year old daughter and 3 year old son really enjoyed doing this and seeing the results! We followed the instructions exactly and everything worked great. The photos have flash and no flash so you can see the base effect. And the glowing base is a great finishing touch. A few helpful tips: - Don't let the crystals grow over the surface of the liquid, the tops will crust - Add a little more water than necessary, but not much (partly to prevent the above) - Give it ENOUGH Time to do it dry. About 1-2 days after you pour out the water. Luckily my kids were very patient (shocking)
