The LapWorks Notebook Desk is a must-have when using tablet PCs like the Motion Computing LE1700, or just jotting down notes on a notepad or wired notepad. in the boarding hall at the airport or in Starbucks - everywhere, away from home or in the office, but also there. Just don't try to carry your laptop around by grabbing the LapDesk's wings and lifting it up like a tray. It's not designed for that and will likely fail. And the little mouse pad in the sidebar isn't physically part of the build, just a handy addition. But since I rarely use a mouse or trackball, it doesn't matter. I have never encountered any problems. I own several. I think I bought my first one in 2003. I think I saw it at Best Buy or Staples. Eating is understandable. He's still going strong after fifteen years. I've since bought four more. I use a lot of computers at work. Five computers is more than enough, but if I need more, I'll buy a few without hesitation.
