Review on Logitech G Saitek X56 H.O.T.A.S. Kit Black by Adam Pietras ᠌

Practical product, nothing to complain about.

It is just necessary to have the backlight on in order to visually discern which mode is active without having to concentrate on the mode switch. There is no alternative interpretation for the term "lighting." Make sure that the thrust in the application is adjusted properly so that the top 10% is already at its maximum. You can also arrange the application to activate certain buttons, such as those drawn on the rod, when you reach a percentage greater than 100%. Carefully! The joystick has a high degree of responsiveness across all axes. Calibrate it in the app by adjusting the sensitivity curves and consider turning down the sensitivity in the game before you use it in any kind of game that takes itself seriously. If nothing is changed and everything stays the same, then, for instance, in Arma 3, it will be nearly hard to operate the interceptor, and you can forget about precision bombing altogether. From the moment you make the slightest movement, you will be flung and chased. However, when you configure it to work for you, it will be a fantastic experience. Note that the curves should be changed such that they resemble the formula y=x3 for all axes because there is some room for play in the data. If it is configured in this manner, the aircraft will be able to sharply maneuver at the maximum angle of inclination while precisely aiming at the target, provided that the deviation from the center is sufficiently significant. You have the option, within the same application, to manually define the Deadzone for each axis, both positively and negatively. This is useful in the event that the sensors are malfunctioning in some way. TL;DR: Joystick for those who want to get the most out of technology and are prepared to burrow into the settings for hours before actually starting to use it.

Pros
  • You are able to read the remark that was left by intelfx. Everything is precisely the same as you described.
Cons
  • Coincidence with the comment made by intelfx, however I will add something from myself. The quality of the assembly suffers regardless of whether or not the person doing the assembly is exhausted. If you are not exhausted, everything will seem to fit perfectly, and everything will be in its place. I was fortunate in this regard. In order to make sure, I took apart the joystick and examined to see if any of the wires had become pinched, which is something that frequently happens. EXTREMELY RELEVANT: Verify that the wires do not have a visually obvious break and that they have not been pinched by removing the cover from the pull lever and inspecting the wires. Even if they were squeezed, the fact that you checked it before you started using it makes the situation far less frightening. Move them carefully so that there won't be any pinching as you move them. If you do not accomplish this, then you will lose the ability to do half of the functions. You can find further videos on YouTube addressing this specific issue with the joystick, and you can watch them there. I should also mention that the joystick is in no way intended to be used by a gorilla. If you have the propensity (as I did at first), of pressing down on the joystick till it cracks, you should brace yourself for the possibility that some of the buttons may simply be pushed in, which will result in you dying really rapidly. I myself am responsible for the deaths of two Saitek Cyborg Evo that occurred in the trash, where there was no chance of recovery. And the X56 is considerably more delicate in this regard, which means that it will break even more quickly. Therefore, take care to employ or select a joystick that is rougher and more difficult.
