I was a bit hesitant to install because I read some reviews about tape. However, I cannot tell you how happy I am with this product. I bought 2 boxes of two sets of 16.4 foot LED strips. I was able to successfully install them in my bedroom without any problems. I actually had a whole strip left so I used it for the bottom bill on my bed. I would suggest two people for the installation. What I noticed is that since I am powering 3 16.4 LED strips from a single 12V adapter, there is a slight difference in performance towards the end of the last light strip. But I don't really notice that. i look great What I found a little tricky is that when mounted to a bed, the LED lights don't hold up very well when you have to bend them to fit around the corners. However, the solution to this problem is to cut the LED strip along the dotted line and use all the included rainbow color adapters. It's a bit of a hassle opening the adapters to connect the two strips, but it's not bad and definitely worth it. I am 100% satisfied and can see that I am worth more than my money. Plus, it comes with extra batteries. That's great. If you do ceiling and under bed setup like I did, the remote controls for both modules are compatible. So on the other hand you have an extra remote control in case something happens to the other one.
