The size of this filter is smaller than advertised in my opinion. The promotional box it comes in measures 3 3/4 inches x 3 3/4 inches x 4 3/4 inches wide. Yes, she is very small. Suitable for 2.5 gallon aquarium. for something more. I bought a much larger filter of this type maybe 5 years ago. I did not use the filter as it had a thin filter cartridge which was slanted compared to the AquaClear filter which was rectangular and easily accommodated my own plastic filter bags with more filter material. A solution for the larger Jebo type was the spread pressed filter cartridge and use a plastic frame with mesh bag or pouch. If I ever use this exact filter now, I'll have to look for the right size again. Thought it might be the same size as the one I already had The seller's website is not well developed.
