I bought these to replace some of the old plastic caps which were terrible. They seem to have solved both of the problems I was having. These lids stay in place, unlike the old ones that opened and closed when they wanted to. And the covers don't pop out when viewed from the side like the old ones did. I see a few people complaining that they don't hold up well. They also hold up great on my latest laptop's shade. Simply clean and dry the surface before applying. They won't stick to your greasy fingerprints. They stick perfectly to the plastic frames of my laptops (even textured ones) and the oleophobic glass screen protectors of my phones and tablets. Yes they are small but remember that only the tiny hole in the center is the camera lens. . Both of my laptops have big circular bezels around the camera, but that's the way it is. Frame. Some of them have two levels of frames. It doesn't matter if you close the frame. Just center the hole on the center hole.
