This is "normal " but could be better.

Gum placement is a little awkward and usually just "MEH" as the aligner leverage removal tool just isn't for me. It's also difficult to place neatly next to my aligners in the Invisalign case. My advice: find another tool in the picture, it comes with a different set of aligner cases and works much better as it fits my aligners comfortably.
