I like Charlie bugs with ears so I tried it on my mare who can't stand anything above her ears. This style has a piece of fabric that fits between the ears and my mare doesn't hold it. However, I cut out a strip between the ears and now she likes it very much. These fly masks last a long time - over a year so I'm glad my mare took to them. I recommend making masks without strips between the ears, because even without this detail it will hold perfectly.
