The bag seems to be well made, but it does not address all of my needs. I need to pack a racing suit and shorts in addition to regular ski boots, helmet, goggles, gloves, a small termos, some snacks and few other minor items. While I could get all this stuff in, it was inconvenient to pack and unpack which would mean spending more time in the ski lodge or next to your car.To put the boots in and out, you'd need to move away the straps. To do this you need to lay the bag with straps facing up. To put the rest of the stuff in, you need to flip the bag, unbuckle straps for carrying skis or a board, then unzip couple other compartments. All of it takes time. The compartment above the one with ski boots is not deep enough. I have plenty of space next to my boots, but it's not being utilized much. If I put my helmet into one of the top compartments, I cannot then fit the goggle case into the google compartment. So, people would have to resolve to putting goggles or goggle case into the helmet. Why claim that you have different compartments for helmet and goggles then?The compartment in the front of the bag not particularly roomy and this is the one that you need to cramp all of the clothing into.There is no good pocket to put the termos or water bottle vertically. You'd have to stick it in other compartments which are again not always easy to reach.Most of ski boot bags allow you to pack and unpack things without the need to flip them around or unbuckle any straps.While I like the shape of the bag and materials/straps/buckles quality, it's just not designed well for a skier that hurries to a first chair or an evening race training. I will be returning it. I guess I will have to stuck with my Kulkea bag for now. It fits the stuff I need, but it's a bit wide and awkward to carry.
