Good for the price but not top notch speakers

I bought these speakers to replace the satellite speakers for my home office. As my company has moved to a remote location due to the pandemic, I now take all calls, appointments and training through my computer. The desktop system I have is a dual satellite subwoofer for high and mid frequencies. This setup worked well, but now that I'm completely remote I needed speakers that had more difference between the highs and mids to hear more clearly all the virtual activities I do on a daily basis. These speakers can do that with no problem. I plugged it in, watched some videos, played music, and made a few calls through my computer. After adjusting the treble and bass, these speakers perform as expected. The housings feel very solid and the inputs are easy to use with banana plugs. The wall mount is a simplified keyhole mount. Although I didn't wall mount it, the metal bracket seems very stable. Just to see how well they handle serious power, I swapped them out for my home theater system with an 800-watt Yamaha 7.2 in place of my Definitive Technology towers. channel receiver. Clarity isn't as great, the mids are more confused, and the bass was weak when watching an action movie. It didn't tell me much because I wasn't planning on using those speakers for it, it was just for comparison. .These speakers are suitable for a small room on a budget where the volume does not need to be adjusted. For large rooms where you need great sound quality, they're underwhelming. If you're looking for entry-level speakers that can deliver clear sound for your day-to-day activities, they'll do very well. If you expect great sound quality from them, keep looking and spend your money elsewhere.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Hard to tell
